Yosemite Community Events

Serving as an informational resource about the historic Yosemite Chapel (the oldest building in Yosemite), this site is maintained by Rev. John Paris, minister/chaplain for 37 years, including 14 years (1991-2005) at the chapel, who now provides Yosemite Weddings and Vow Renewals.

The Yosemite Chapel hosts various Community Events in Yosemite Valley throughout the year, such as seminars, Children’s Vacation Bible School, and the Annual Community Christmas Dinner. The Yosemite community, and visitors to Yosemite alike, participate in these special occasions.
